In 2022, whilst our life has gradually got back to normal, many unexpected incidents have occurred, including the Russia-Ukraine war, the energy crisis and historic levels of inflation. These events have brought us a different level of uncertainty compared to the previous year.
However, even with this uncertainty, we believe there is always a way to create opportunities by connecting people and ideas.
We are so grateful for all the encouragement and support we have received from existing and new clients and partners this year.
We wish you a healthy and peaceful festive season.

The UK government DIT (Department for International Trade) will host the International Trade Week and our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon will speak at the session “Leveraging the benefits of the Japan Free Trade Agreement”on 2 November 2022 at 10:00am GMT, as one of the panellists. The session will include discussion of the UK-Japan CEPA Free Trade Agreement and CPTPP (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership), and the UK-Japan regional relationship between Thames Valley and Kansai.

Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will host the fourth GIF (Global Innovation Forum) Osaka 2022 this autumn. Our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon, as the Head of the Japan Desk at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, is supporting the recruitment and selection process.
This is a great opportunity for UK start-ups and innovative companies to test out the Japanese market with no fee required. The application deadline for UK companies will be 6th August 2022.
