Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will host the fourth GIF (Global Innovation Forum) Osaka 2022 this autumn.  Our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon, as the Head of the Japan Desk at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, is supporting the recruitment and selection processes.

This is a great opportunity for UK tech start-ups and innovative companies to test out the Japanese market with no fee required.  The application deadline for UK companies will be 6th August 2022.

GIF (Global Innovation Forum) Osaka 2022  combines virtual pitch sessions from the invited start-ups, followed by B2B meetings with Japanese companies. Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) will recruit and select the UK companies and our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon, as the Head of the Japan Desk at TVCC, is supporting the selection process.

This year marks the fourth year of this event.  Since the first year of the GIF, two UK companies have been selected to present each year due to the high level of interest we receive from innovative companies in the region.

GIF 2022 will be held virtually and it is completely free to attend.  This will be a great opportunity for UK start-ups and small companies who are interested in Japan to test out the Japanese market.
