Two innovative UK start-ups to present at GIF (Global Innovation Forum) Osaka 2021

Two innovative UK start-up companies supported by the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) have been selected by Osaka Chamber of Commerce (OCCI) to attend the GIF (Global Innovation Forum) Osaka 2021. Our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon, as the Head of the Japan Desk at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, supported the recruitment and selection processes.
2021 marks the third year of this event, which will be held virtually. Pitch sessions will commence on the 27th October, followed by business meetings in early December. A total of 35 start-ups from 12 countries will attend this year, and they are from a wide variety of sectors: - Digital transformation, Smart Cities, Robotics, Health Tech , Food and Agri-Tech, and Carbon Neutral Technologies.

The Schedule of the event is as follows:
27th - 29th October 2021 – Live start-up pitch sessions, Keynote speech and Panel discussions.
1st - 3rd December 2021 – Business meetings between start-ups and companies / investors.
The two UK start-ups selected for GIF2021 are: -
Q5D Technology - an innovative company with a mission to automate the manufacture and assembly of wiring looms. We develop machinery and processes for the Automotive and Aerospace industries to gain the highest level of accreditation.
