Our CEO appointed to JETRO coordinator

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) has established an SME Overseas Expansion Platform (for Asia, Americas, Europe, and the Middle East) so that Japanese SMEs can receive Japanese government support to establish their businesses outside Japan. On this Platform, JETRO has placed local coordinators by sector and our CEO Masako Eguchi-Bacon is appointed as the coordinator for the Environment and Energy sectors in the UK.

In this scheme, local coordinators support Japanese SMEs to conduct market research, identify potential customers and business partners, arrange meetings with them, and introduce them to relevant organisations and specialists.

As the world focuses more on Net Zero, we have seen increasing interest from Japanese companies who seek to collaborate with non-Japanese companies in the Environment and Energy area.  We hope that our connections and expertise in the UK, which is leading the world in the Energy sector, will be helpful for Japanese SMEs.

This Platform service is available for Japanese SMEs based in Japan and their overseas offices.
